Raritan Engineering Company, Inc. was founded in 1958 on the basis of the Patent for the PH Marine Toilet. The PHII, the PH Marine’s successor, is still manufactured by Raritan. In 1966, the worlds first macerating Marine Toilet, The Crown Head, was to follow. 1974 saw the first small on-board waste treatment system. The pursuit of innovation is at the forefront of Raritan Engineering Company, Inc., and has continued throughout the years with multiple patents and marine product improvements.
